Today’s Champagne Bar was beautifully renovated in 2014 and is located adjacent to The Plaza’s lobby and Fifth Avenue foyer.

The Grand Ballroom

The Grand Ballroom

The Plaza’s fabled Grand Ballroom has long been home to landmark events, C-level conferences, and lavish galas. Over 50 years ago, A-list celebrities and society’s elite gathered in The Plaza Hotel’s Grand Ballroom for Truman Capote’s “Black & White Ball”. This century’s equivalent, Saturday Night Lives’ 40th Anniversary After Party, brought together the modern day stars. CPS Events works to uphold the culinary mastery and personal service that has defined The Plaza and New York City meetings, events and celebrations since 1907. We leave no stone unturned as we prepare the ballroom for one-of-a-kind New York weddings, conferences, events, and other festivities that help redefine luxury. Accommodating as many as 500 guests for seated events and 1000 guests for cocktails, the Grand Ballroom is an exceptional New York wedding venue that transfixes all who see it. Make the ballroom the setting for your next luxury event and experience the tradition that is The Plaza. Request your consultation today to find out how you can make your history here!

The Oak Room

The Oak Room

Often referred to as a core piece of the DNA that makes New York City, The Oak Room at The Plaza provides an elegantly paneled, German Renaissance Revival-style space that takes you back in time. With frescoes of Bavarian castles, and a grape-laden chandelier topped by a barmaid hoisting stein hanging from the twenty-food high ceiling this room is unlike anything else available in Manhattan.

Host your next private event in a room that has seen it all. The Oak Room and Oak Bar at The Plaza can be set for conferences, weddings, seminars and panels for up to 140 people.

The Palm Court

The Palm Court

Re-launched in 2014 the iconic Palm Court at The Plaza with a complete renovation helmed by Master Architect Thierry Despont. The menu showcases classic American fare from morning to evening, and while staying true to its original design intent, Despont has brought the grand feeling of Central Park indoors, with garden elements such as caning, large potted plants, four soaring palm trees and an oval trellised bar anchoring the room, creating an ambiance that feels warm, private and glamorous. Bespoke furnishings provide a relaxed, yet elegant setting well-suited for either a professional breakfast meeting or an evening of cocktails crafted by mixologist Brian Van Flandern. Afternoon Tea truly shines as well with custom tableware and china, a tea list with worldly depth, and of course, a bit of Eloise too. This elegant room marked with its stained glass dome and impressive height adds a touch of old New York to a very polished and modern sense of hospitality.

The Terrace Room

The Terrace Room

One level below the Grand Ballroom lies the Terrace Room, a setting rich with its own history and charm. Meticulously restored to its original grandeur, the Terrace Room holds some of the most exquisite architecture within The Plaza. The original crystal chandeliers made by Charles Winston (brother of famed jeweler, Harry), replicates those within the Palace of Versailles. Striking yet elegant, the Terrace Room truly is a jewel within The Plaza.

As a compliment to the Grand ballroom, or, on its own, The Terrace Room plays host to a variety of New York events and meeting – large and small. Request your consultation today.
